It started with a shared dream: to cook fresh, healthy, delicious food for the people of Margate and beyond. Two weeks after that conversation, Rosie, our 1980 Bristol VR, trundled out of hibernation to start her new life as a cafe on the seafront at Westbrook.
Breakfast and brunch served from Rosie, a 1980 Bristol VR parked on the promenade at Westbrook. Big plates, good bread, produce from Kent farms, and the sea right outside the window. Plenty for vegans too.
We source as much as we can from local farms and organisations. Fruit and veg come from Nash Farm, a Margate business with a long-running reputation for good quality local produce. Our eggs are free range from hens with plenty of space to roam and forage, and our bread is made with 100 percent British flour and carries the Red Tractor mark.
Our coffee comes from Garage Coffee, roasted just outside Canterbury in small 3kg batches and tasted every time. Beans are roasted to order, so nothing sits around going stale. Everything on the menu is also available to take away if you would rather eat it on the sand.

We try to tread lightly too. Our packaging is biodegradable and recyclable, and we do our best to make as little waste as possible, re-using and upcycling wherever we can on board.
